Gelişen Nesil International Education and Development Association
By young people, with young people, for young people.
The future is in the next generation
We run youth work that reaches from the local level to the international arena — building an ecosystem where young people generate ideas, take responsibility and create change in their communities.

Who are we?
Strong ideas that start locally reach a wider impact
We set out in 2021 as a volunteer social initiative started by international relations students from different universities. In 2025 we became an officially registered association based in Bursa, placing our work on a more sustainable, inclusive and accessible footing.
Today Gelişen Nesil is an independent, youth-led civil society organisation that sees young people not merely as the actors of tomorrow, but as powerful stakeholders in today's decisions.
Our Vision
To contribute to raising a strong young generation that can access equal opportunities, take an active role in democratic processes and shape sustainable development.
Our Mission
To strengthen the capacity of young people, women and individuals facing unequal access to opportunities, and to build an inclusive youth participation ecosystem reaching from the local level to Europe.
What we do
Seven focus areas, one goal: empowered youth
We work across areas ranging from youth participation and climate justice to digital citizenship and European mobility.
Youth opportunities
Opportunities in Europe are closer than you think
From Erasmus+ to the European Solidarity Corps — we make international learning and volunteering opportunities easier to reach.
