We Were in Ankara for the European Youth Week Meeting!

As Gelişen Nesil Association, we took part in the youth meeting organised in Ankara by the Turkish National Agency as part of European Youth Week.

Held in Ankara on 15-17 June 2026, the European Youth Week Meeting was an important gathering where young people could get first-hand information about Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps and youth opportunities in Europe.

Throughout the meeting, young people were informed about the work of the Turkish National Agency, the Erasmus+ Youth Programme, the European Solidarity Corps and youth participation opportunities at the European level. There was also an exchange of views on the programmes, with discussions on young people's needs, expectations and experiences.

We see our participation not just as an information process, but as an important step in following European youth programmes more closely, strengthening young people's access to these opportunities and building our association's capacity in the youth field.

We aim to continue our information, guidance and capacity-building work so that young people in Bursa can reach Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps and volunteering opportunities more easily.

As Gelişen Nesil, we keep working to connect young people with opportunities that reach from the local level to Europe, and to help them take a more active role in youth work.
